The seat of the government of Xilin Gol League is called Xilinhot, and there is a train! But there is only one train, which leads to Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia! But the road traffic is quite developed!

The grasslands in Xilin Gol League are roughly Su Nite grassland, Wuzhumuqin grassland and Jinlianchuan grassland!

Su Nite grassland is located in the west of Xilin Gol League and in the south of Mongolian Plateau. Its landform types are composed of plateau, plain, hills, sandy land and lake basin lowlands. There is the famous Su Nite mutton here!

Wuzhumuqin Grassland is located in the east of Xilin Gol League, where the elevation is generally 1,111 ~ 1,511m, which is a typical continental climate, with an annual average temperature of 1 ~ 6℃, an annual precipitation of 1.51 ~ 451mm and a frost-free period of 81 ~ 151 days. The soil in the territory is black soil, chernozem, chestnut soil, brown calcium soil, lime soil and desert soil from northeast to southwest. Vegetation composition, mostly dry grassland, semi-desert and desert zone, with Gobi and a few sand dunes in between. The main grasses are Gramineae and Compositae, with leguminous grasses in between.

Jinlianchuan grassland is in Zhenglan Banner in the south of Xilin Gol League, and the lightning river runs through it. The capital of the Yuan Dynasty was built here, and it was called the Capital of the Yuan Dynasty. Longgang in the north and Jinlianchuan grassland in the south are flat. Every summer, the meadow is full of Trollius chinensis, which is named after it. Kublai Khan built the Jinlianchuan shogunate here in 1251, later known as Kaifu Jinlianchuan, which was a royal summer resort in Yuan Dynasty. In hot summer, the climate here is cool and pleasant. The golden lotus is in full bloom, and all kinds of birds and butterflies fly in the meantime, full of vitality. A school of grassland scenery beyond the Great Wall. Now it has become a summer resort for leisure tourism.

the above three grassland areas have convenient transportation, all of which are highway transportation!

If you take a train, you can take a train from Hohhot to Xilinhot, and then take a bus to the above three areas. It's not far, usually it takes about three hours!
