Meals on American Airlines are free. Economy class has two kinds of monitors. One hangs behind your seat or in the aisle of the cabin, depending on the size and model of the plane you are flying. Large aircraft (more advanced aircraft can also be used) generally have a display in front of each seat, and smaller passenger planes generally hang 3-4 rows (just like TVs hanging on domestic trains).
