The job of the chief inspector of the Market Supervision Bureau:
(1) To be in charge of the food safety supervision business in the market and guide the normative documents on food safety supervision drawn up by relevant business offices; Organize and evaluate the implementation of laws, regulations, rules and standards in the field of food production and operation, and put forward opinions and suggestions to the party group;
(2) to be responsible for organizing spot checks and inspections on the access of food production and marketing enterprises in the market, and put forward suggestions or reports on the problems found;
(3) To be responsible for making important decisions on food safety supervision in the market and handling major cases, and put forward opinions and suggestions before submitting them to the party group meeting;
(4) assist and cooperate with the leaders in charge of the market supervision bureau to do a good job in the food safety supervision business of the catering service food supervision department, the health food cosmetics supervision department and the risk monitoring management department;
(5) to assist and cooperate with the leaders in charge to do a good job in food inspection, evaluation and inspection in product quality inspection offices and inspection centers;
(6) to undertake other tasks assigned by the main leaders of the market supervision bureau.
