From the distribution of industries, the industry with the highest per capita income in 2021 is the financial industry, reaching 25,000 yuan, followed by the information transmission, software and information technology service industry, and the leasing and business service industry, with per capita incomes exceeding 20,000 yuan; while per capita incomes in industries such as the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery industry, and the accommodation and catering industry are still low, at around 10,000 yuan only.
From the perspective of gender distribution, the per capita income of men nationwide in 2021 will be 13,000 yuan, 7.2% higher than that of women, and the income level of men is significantly higher than that of women.
From the perspective of age distribution, the per capita income of people aged 20-29 nationwide in 2021 will be the highest, at 14,000 yuan, followed by people aged 30-39, with a per capita income of 13,000 yuan; while the per capita income of the elderly group aged 60 or above will be the lowest, at only 0.9 million yuan.
From the distribution of education, in 2021, the per capita income of people with postgraduate education and above will be the highest at 17,000 yuan nationwide, followed by undergraduates with a per capita income of 14,000 yuan; while those with junior high school education and below will have the lowest per capita income of only 0.8 million yuan.
In terms of urban-rural distribution, the national per capita income in 2021 will be 13,000 yuan in towns and cities, 7.5% higher than that in rural areas, with the income level in towns and cities significantly higher than that in rural areas.
Overall, the national per capita income in 2021 will be 12,000 yuan, the income level has increased, but there is still a gap between geography, industry, gender, age, education and urban and rural areas.
