According to the requirements of Guodian Company for dust control of coal conveying system, the allowable dust concentration in the air around each monitoring point of coal conveying system is less than 10mg/m3. In the process of coal crushing and transportation in power plants, the dust produced when coal falls from a height through a coal chute often makes the dust content in the air around the falling point exceed 10mg/m3. At present, the commonly used method is to exhaust air and dust at the upper mouth of the chute, and adjust the 1~2 rubber dust screen at the outlet of the chute to prevent the dusty airflow from escaping. Commonly used exhaust dust removal devices include: bag filter (used by multiple units), electrostatic precipitator, vortex dust collector and impact hydraulic dust collector (also known as water bath dust removal). The exhaust and dust removal device has two main functions: one is to vacuum the space of the guide chute to reduce the escape of dust from the guide chute; The second is to separate the dust powder from the dusty gas, so that the dust content of the discharged air can meet the emission standard.
Among the above-mentioned dust collectors, cyclone dust collector has low dust removal efficiency. The impact hydraulic dust collector has a large resistance loss and needs to discharge a large amount of dusty sewage. The ability of bag filter to adapt to the change of medium working condition is poor (the specific resistance coefficient RP of bag is mainly determined by dust characteristics), and the maintenance workload is large and the maintenance cost is high; At present, the air volume of the products supplied in the market is above 7000m3/h, while the space of the guide chute of the B= 1200 belt conveyor needs to be kept in a slight vacuum, and the air volume needs to be above12000m3/h. Even if each guide chute is equipped with two bag-type dust collectors, it is difficult to keep the negative pressure of the guide chute all the time, because the circulating resistance of the dust collector itself increases with the increase of dust accumulation on the bag. However, due to its high investment cost and large area, it needs to be equipped with corresponding ash discharge devices. The system is relatively complex, and the workload of adjustment and maintenance at ordinary times is large, and there are not many manufacturers using the coal conveying system.
After the above comprehensive analysis and consideration, if each belt conveyor is equipped with a set of dust removal equipment and electrostatic dust removal is carried out, each transfer station should be equipped with corresponding dust removal equipment, which not only has a large number of equipment and high investment cost, but also has a large workload of normal operation management and high maintenance labor and cost. Even if all kinds of dust collectors mentioned above are used, the expected effect may not be achieved. The multifunctional guide chute adopts measures such as plugging, pressure relief and dust suppression to prevent coal dust from flying out from the head, side, interface and tail of the belt conveyor, thus ensuring that the dust content in the air in the transfer station meets the requirements of environmental protection.
