On October 12, 2018, Alibaba Group announced the official establishment of the local life service company, hungry and word of mouth will merge to form a leading domestic local life service platform. Alibaba Group partner Wang Lei (fancy name Kun Yang) will serve as president of Ali local life services company, and concurrently serve as CEO of Hungry Mou.

On September 15, 2017, the Lazarus Group, the parent company of Hungry Mansions, sent an internal email announcing that Hungry Mansions and Baidu Takeout were notified of the first round of structural adjustments following the August 24 merger. The new CEO of Baidu Takeout is Wei Hai, who is responsible for the Baidu Takeout business and the implementation of the dual-brand strategy.
