Compared with foreign drilling engineering design software, the domestic R&D level is obviously not on a level, and the gap has a tendency to get bigger and bigger. According to the available information and literature, the drilling design software used in domestic oilfields is basically developed in cooperation with scientific research institutes through the form of projects, but these software can not reach the level of commercial application at all, and at most they can only be used in small-scale trials in a single oilfield. There are not many drilling-related software that have been commercialized in China, including:
1) Drilling information management and engineering service system developed by Xi'an New Generation Petroleum Software Co., Ltd: the main functions include database management, report generation, completion report, statistical analysis, engineering calculation, tool manual and system maintenance.
2) Wellsite Information Management System developed by Beijing ChaosiScience Petroleum Software Development Co., Ltd: mostly adopted by SINOPEC and its affiliates, it integrates five major categories of reports, including IADC drilling production management, safety management, drilling equipment management, well control management and cementing management.
3) West Century Software's Petroleum Engineering and Technical Services Information Management Platform: it supports multiple platforms and is a petroleum engineering and technical services management information platform software for petroleum engineering services.
4) Drilling Engineering Monitoring and Information Service System of School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering of China University of Petroleum: it has been applied more in Shengli Oilfield and various oilfields in Xinjiang, and is characterized by real-time data collection, wellsite engineering calculations, wellsite database management, and automatic generation of reports.
5) Navigator Drilling Studio (Directional Well Horizontal Well Design and Calculation Analysis System) developed by Beijing Yiheng Sunshine Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a set of computer-aided system used for designing and analyzing engineering of horizontal wells for onshore and offshore directional wells. Among them, the TDFEA drag torque analysis software models the forces on the drilling tools in the borehole.
6) Resistance and torque analysis software developed by Beijing AUGT Technology Co., Ltd, which can be used for drilling pressure design of various types of boreholes, strength checking of drilling columns, and prediction of bending state of tubular columns, resistance and torque, and large hook load and drilling rig load for various working conditions.
7) The well structure design module of Integrated Drilling Design System (IDDS) developed by Beijing ChaosiScience Company can draw formation lithology profiles, formation fracture pressure gradient curves, formation pore pressure gradient curves, and draw well structure diagrams based on the well structure design data and borehole trajectory design data.
8) The underbalanced drilling design and monitoring software developed by Beijing Aor Innovative Petroleum Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. predicts adequate borehole cleaning capacity and can increase the mechanical drilling speed to the highest speed while maintaining underbalance. Using the latest methods for calculating rock chip carrying capacity, the underbalanced drilling design and monitoring software takes into account the effects of rock chip accumulation.
9) ANYDRILL drilling engineering design and engineering software platform system developed by China National Petroleum Corporation Drilling Engineering Technology Research Institute adopts plug-in technology, with different plug-ins having different functions. The available plug-ins include: pressure-controlled drilling design and analysis system, formation pressure prediction, analysis and monitoring system, rock mechanics analysis system, drilling fluid design and analysis system, cementing engineering design and analysis system, underbalanced (gas) drilling design and analysis system, drilling column mechanics analysis system, drilling database management system, and drilling real-time monitoring and technical decision-making system.
Combined with the research and analysis of domestic and foreign drilling design software, it can be seen that both domestic and foreign software have the following characteristics:
1) Focus on module. Existing drilling design software are focused on the design of a particular module, but not focused on the entire drilling design process.
2) Few connections to the network. Except for the hardware network connected to sensors at the drilling site, the existing drilling design software has less connection to the Internet, which is not conducive to data *** enjoyment and software development.
3) Need to install the client. All the drilling design software need to install the client on the computer, must meet the client's hardware and system environment requirements in order for the software to run normally, has a high threshold for use.
4) Cannot automatically generate design reports. Only a few software has the ability to automatically generate reports, but the automatically generated reports need to be re-edited by the designers to archive, which invariably increases the unnecessary workload.
