According to official website of Jinhua Vocational and Technical College, people outside Jinhua Vocational and Technical College are not allowed to enter casually. If they want to enter, they must apply to the school to enter. As of July 2023, the canteen is no longer open to the public. Jinhua Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1994 and approved by the Ministry of Education 1998. It is one of the first batch of 28 higher vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education, and integrates the traditions and resources of six technical secondary schools, including Jinhua Normal School, Yiwu Normal School, Jinhua Health School, Jinhua Agricultural School, Jinhua Supply and Marketing School and Zhejiang Agricultural Machinery School.
