College of Science and Technology, Yanbian University. At the end of 1992, the people's government of Jilin Province approved the change of the school to "Yanbian University of Science and Technology (to be established)" and began to recruit undergraduate and junior college students that were not planned by the state. 65438-0996 merged into Yanbian University and became the College of Science and Technology of Yanbian University, and began to recruit undergraduates under the national plan. The school covers an area of about 350,000 square meters, with a building area of 82,000 square meters, which initially meets the requirements for training undergraduates. The college has 1800 students and 387 faculty members. Among them, there are 235 foreign faculty and staff from the United States, South Korea, Germany and other countries 1 1, and the administrative staff is half Chinese and half foreign. Among the teachers, there are 34 professors, 47 associate professors and 46 doctors.

The College of Science and Technology of Yanbian University is a developing college. The educational goal of the college is to cultivate compound, applied and foreign-related professionals who meet the needs of socialist modernization. The college will play an active role in promoting cooperation in Northeast Asia and the development of Tumen River basin.

Graduates from the Institute of Science and Technology are welcomed by large and medium-sized domestic enterprises, especially South Korean wholly-owned or joint ventures such as Samsung, LG and Hyundai, for their excellent work ability and integrity. College graduates are mainly distributed in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong, Guangdong, Jilin, Jiangsu and other places. The provinces span Hebei, Yunnan and Zhejiang, as far as Hainan and Xinjiang. 20% of the graduates go abroad for further study in famous Korean universities such as Seoul National University, Yonsei University and Korea University, or pursue master's and doctoral programs in famous universities in the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain and Switzerland.
