Hengyang Hazardous Waste Disposal Center is responsible for the disposal of medical wastes in Hengyang and hazardous wastes in five cities in southern Hunan, with an annual disposal capacity of about 80,000 tons and a total area of 300 mu. The design scale is: handling 36,400 tons of hazardous wastes and medical wastes annually. Among them: 5,000 tons of incineration, 6,000 tons of physicochemical treatment, 6,543,800 tons of safe landfill and 6,000 tons of comprehensive recovery. Main construction projects: new collection and transportation system, hazardous waste and medical waste temporary storage area, comprehensive recovery workshop, chemical workshop, stabilization/solidification workshop, incineration workshop, complete landfill, wastewater treatment station, other public buildings and auxiliary facilities are planned.
Hengyang Hazardous Waste Treatment Center undertakes the disposal of industrial and medical hazardous wastes in Hengyang and southern Hunan, and adopts advanced technologies such as incineration, landfill, solidification and comprehensive utilization. It is designed to handle 36,000 tons of hazardous waste every year. The total investment of Hengyang Hazardous Waste Treatment Center is 65.438+0.6 billion yuan, with a construction period of two years and an operation period of 25 years. 60% of the project funds will be invested by the state, and 40% will be borne by Beijing Beikong Environmental Protection Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Huanji Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. After the project is completed, it can effectively solve the harm of Hengyang medical waste and southern Hunan industrial waste, prevent the spread of diseases and benefit the society.
By 20 10, there are 46 medical institutions at or above the county level in Hengyang, with a daily output of 6.907 tons of medical waste; There are 228 township hospitals, which produce medical waste 1.628 tons per day. Since 2005, the Health Bureau of Hengyang City and the Environmental Protection Bureau of Hengyang City have entrusted the Yannan Medical Waste Recovery and Treatment Center in Yanfeng District as a temporary disposal institution to be responsible for the medical waste disposal of all medical institutions in Hengyang City and medical institutions in counties and cities. On June 20 10, Hengyang took the lead in setting up Hengyang solid waste management station in the municipal environmental protection department as a special management institution responsible for the supervision of industrial solid waste and medical waste in the city. Up to now, there has not been a medical waste pollution accident in Hengyang City.
