Caigenxiang, a time-honored Chinese restaurant, was founded in Yangzhou in 1933, which is the handed down place of modern Huaiyang cuisine. Among Huaiyang cuisine, "Yangzhou fried rice" and "Yangzhou three-head banquet" (braised silver carp head, stewed lion head and roasted pig head) are also the best cooks of Caigenxiang.
Caigenxiang Restaurant covers an area of more than 21 mu, including a dining area of more than 3,111 square meters, with more than 1,111 seats, 32 boxes and three banquet halls. After several years of continuous development, it has now formed a large-scale restaurant with catering as the main business mode.
Wang Zengqi's Collection of Short Papers includes Renhui, in which a nun named Renhui, who is in charge of Guanyin Temple, is capable and famous for her vegetarian diet. Since most nuns in buddhist nun have returned to vulgarity after liberation, she traveled around the world, and later opened a vegetable restaurant named Xianggu jiaozi in Beigushan, Zhenjiang.
