1. The first article

Our hometown, Huanxian, stands in the mid-latitude area in the northeast inland of Gansu Province. Its terrain is high, complex and varied, and uneven. Due to the rising temperature in recent years, the dry areas are drier and the rain-rich areas are flooded. The ring city is in this dry area. Rainwater only prevails in summer and autumn, which will cause soil erosion and seriously affect crop growth.

In our hometown, caves are the easiest to see. They have one characteristic: they are warm in winter and cool in summer. In autumn harvest, people store the harvested grain in this cave. There are several famous mountains in our county: Wuzi Mountain, Lanshan Mountain and Yuhuang Mountain. There are two beautiful stories about these mountains.

firstly, in ancient times, there was a jade dragon and a phoenix. After many years, they made a precious mirror. Wherever this mirror shines, there will be beautiful scenery. When the Queen Mother heard the news, she sent heavenly soldiers and generals to fight for it. In the battle between Yulong and Fenghuang, the mirror fell into the world and became today's West Lake. Yulong and Fenghuang were not reconciled, so they flew to the next day to become today's Phoenix Mountain and Jade Emperor Mountain.

Secondly, once upon a time, there was a county magistrate who caught a dragon and sent a message to cut it. The Queen Mother went to save the dragon, but on the way, the dragon was already cut, and the Queen Mother was very angry and then left. Five children went to rescue the dragon. When they heard that the Queen Mother had returned, they wanted to return, but they were stopped by a mountain. Therefore, they were named Lanshan and Wuzi Mountain.

2. The second article

When it comes to Huan County, maybe everyone will look down upon it, and they will think of it, ah! It's the poorest Huanxian county. They don't care about it, but they don't know that too much wealth and too much enjoyment can't make people happy. Sometimes those things are won over and have no meaning.

Although people in Huan County are poor, they live happily. There is no money, no disputes, only peace. All this is different from other places. People's thoughts are not as cunning and dirty as those of the rich. People here are always so simple and happy.

I love Huan County, and I like everything here. I won't give up here because of the poverty here. There are harmonious people here, making the world a better place, and the imbalance in my heart will disappear. People who come here believe that they will be happy because everything here has grown up with the help of love. Huanxian makes people feel happy and makes people's minds have ideals flying.

here, harmony is always rare in the world. It makes people feel beautiful, just like we like an object, which makes you love it, because it is really beautiful and can't be described. Only when you feel it can you know it and feel it.

I have a deep affinity with Huan County, Gansu Province, mainly because I studied there for more than four years. It was a happy time for me. Although it was not long, it had a profound impact on me. I studied in Huan County, and even during the intense college entrance examination review, in retrospect, I am full of harmonious and beautiful memories.

At that time, the admission rate of college entrance examination was very low, and the academic competition was fierce, but the relationship between students was friendly and harmonious. After class, in the winter sunshine, students will gather together on the stone steps at the door of the classroom to get warm, or queue up to play a farewell game to compete for endurance and skills.

Students from rural areas sometimes give me a handful of dry fried noodles fried with oatmeal, which was a rare food enjoyment at that time. These warm people and things make me unforgettable for a long time. I lived in Huan County for just over four years, but everything there has been unforgettable for 41 years since then.

Huanjiang River has been rippling in my mind, and all the people and things related to Huanxian County are always lingering in my heart. I'm looking forward to returning to Huan County one day, seeing today's Huanjiang River, seeing today's Huancheng, and the people I often miss there.
