Who is the President of Yum!
Su Jingshi, President of Yum Brands, China Born in Taiwan and originally from Shanxi Province, Su joined KFC in 1989 and became KFC's Regional Vice President for North Asia in 1993 and Regional Vice President for Asia the following year. 1997, PepsiCo decided to divest its restaurant business (three fast-food chains including KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell) to form Yum Brands. 1998, he was officially appointed President of Yum Brands Greater China. In 1998, Mr. Su was officially appointed President of Yum China. Prior to joining KFC, Mr. Su worked for Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Germany and Taiwan. He graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and went on to study at Penn State University in the United States, where he received a Master's degree in Science and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School of Business.  He proposed the localization strategy of "Based on China, Integrate into Life" to fully integrate KFC into the lives of Chinese people. Since 1998, when he became the President of Yum China, Mr. Su has been committed to developing KFC into the No. 1 brand in China's food and beverage industry. Today, KFC is the market leader in China's food and beverage industry, and KFC's profits in China account for one-third of the global KFC profits
