In response to the first question in this questionnaire, where did the first bucket of money for women's entrepreneurship come from? Half of the respondents chose to accumulate it by their own diligence, and most of them started from scratch and succeeded step by step by their own efforts. Another 31% of the respondents think that they got the first bucket of gold through their own professional knowledge, and most of these entrepreneurial women are professionals such as accountants and lawyers; In addition, 11% people got the first start-up fund through marriage.
These successful women remind prospective entrepreneurs that women have more favorable factors than men in starting a business. Especially in the early stage of starting a business, women are good at managing money, and their cost control is relatively stable. They are more likely to be careful, not wasteful and diligent than men. Moreover, the social cost of female entrepreneurs is low, which is conducive to early capital accumulation.
Retail and catering are the easiest to succeed
The survey results show that successful women entrepreneurs are concentrated in retail and catering industries. This is inseparable from women's own personality characteristics. Delicate, beautiful, happy and emotional are the unique labels of women and the necessary qualities for engaging in these industries. These qualities make women often indulge in retailing and catering, which need to communicate with others and are closely related to their lives, so they have more internal motivation to operate. Even if they are hindered, they can persist with tough quality, thus achieving a bright future.
Interviewee Yu Meifang, the owner of a tea house, said that she won more customers through the unique elegance and delicacy of women. She said: Immersed in the fragrance of tea, my body and mind have become lighter. It is one of my greatest pleasures to tell customers about tea culture. I feel the beauty of this entrepreneurial life all over.
In those comprehensive industries that are more rational, such as real estate, women entrepreneurs only account for 11%, which is also related to the fact that most women don't like dealing with numbers. They are good at thinking in images, but they are short in logical thinking. The real estate industry is relatively risky, so most women are afraid to join in.
self-restriction is the biggest bottleneck in starting a business
I won't let my daughter start a business, it's too hard! This is the mentality of an interviewee from Wuai Market. The interviewee is a successful woman, but she insists that she was laid off in those years and was forced by life to start a business, so she doesn't want her daughter to take the hard road of starting a business again.
The mentality of the female boss is representative. In this survey, about 45% of female entrepreneurs believe that their own entrepreneurial bottleneck is their own limitations. First of all, their own internal motivation for starting a business is insufficient, and they are unwilling to expand their scale after a small success. In addition There are 25% women who think that the bottleneck of their entrepreneurship is family ties.
Among the approved entrepreneurial keywords, 41% of the respondents choose self-confidence, which they think is the most important quality for women to succeed in starting a business. At the same time, 21% people think that the atmosphere is very important, which determines whether an entrepreneur can succeed. Their own pattern, the so-called atmosphere, determines the ability of female entrepreneurs to coordinate all aspects of relations. Peace, courtesy and willingness to give up are all winning weapons.
An interviewee commented on his entrepreneurial success in this way: entrepreneurship should have the spirit of giving up. You can put yourself in the other's shoes. Employees and customers will only be with you if they have interests, so you must know how to give up yourself and give up your interests in order to finally get it.
Multiple values under multiple identities
An interviewed woman who started a successful business said this: No woman is willing to give up her family and choose a career. Any woman's identity is diverse. In addition to social identity, she also plays the roles of wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law in the family, which is not sloppy at all. Moreover, the criteria for social evaluation of women's success are diverse. As far as social value is concerned, being a good mother and wife is no less valuable than being a good boss.
among the interviewees, there are also many entrepreneurial women who have not handled the marriage problem well. Among them, many of them have to face the broken family because they neglected the family when they started their business.
