For handling unemployment, the employer is required to issue a certificate of termination or dissolution of the labor contract and the following materials:
1. The valid ID card of the party concerned, unemployment registration and job application certificate, and other materials specified by the agency;
2. Go through the procedures for receiving unemployment benefits (refer to Article 51 of China's Social Insurance Law).
The Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates:
Article 51 The employing unit shall issue a certificate of termination or dissolution of labor relations for the unemployed in time, and inform the social insurance agency of the list of unemployed persons within 15 days from the date of termination or dissolution of labor relations.
the unemployed should hold the certificate of termination or dissolution of labor relations issued by their own units, and go to the designated public employment service agencies for unemployment registration in time.
With unemployment registration certificate and personal identification certificate, the unemployed go to the social insurance agency to go through the formalities of receiving unemployment insurance benefits. The period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits shall be calculated from the date of unemployment registration.
