Huangshui, a first-class tributary of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, was called Linshui in ancient times, also known as Longquanshui and Qiushui. Lingshui, as mentioned in the water mirror annotation, originates from Xialvshui Temple in Bailongshan, Xing County, Shanxi Province, and flows through He Sui, Linxian County to Qikou Town to join the Yellow River. Suishui River is the mother river of Linxian people, and the flat land and irrigated land in the county are mostly distributed along Suishui River and its two wings.
