Changning Palace was originally the royal court of the Tang Dynasty. It is located 5 kilometers south of Xi 'an Chang 'an District, on the Shenhe Plateau, where Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, once built a temple for his mother.
1940, Hu Zongnan transformed it into Chiang Kai-shek's northwest palace.
1999 transformed into a large holiday villa integrating catering, accommodation, entertainment, leisure and tourism, covering an area of more than 300 mu, with beautiful scenery and overlooking the mountains.
