Different from other ancient towns, Tangchang Town is more like a town with ancient rhyme and modern flavor. Here, the noise of tourists is replaced by the quiet and leisurely living atmosphere in the alley. According to records, Tangchang Town was called Chongning County in ancient times. Founded in the second year of Tang Yifeng (AD 677), it was originally named Tangchang County, which means the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. In the first year of Song Chongning (A.D. 1 102), Tang Chang was renamed Chongning County. After liberation, the county was withdrawn into Pixian.
Historically, Tangchang has been an important market town in western Sichuan since the Tang Dynasty, with merchants like clouds and wealth. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, temples were flourishing and there were many palace audiences, and there was a grand occasion of "splendid Tang Chang's thousand-year history, dreams of seven palaces and eight temples". For thousands of years, it has a rich history and a long culture, and Zhong Ling is a famous hometown of humanities in western Sichuan. But now, the most representative Confucius temple is only the former seven palaces and eight temples. This magnificent and quaint wooden structure, which was built in the Song Dynasty and renovated during the reign of Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Guangxu, not only shows a long and lasting historical atmosphere, but also embodies a strong local cultural atmosphere.
Da Chun Lane in the drizzle is simple and elegant, surrounded by green trees, and the rain drops along the blue roof tiles. Wet corners are covered with moss, and winding alleys are empty.
