Not all meals ordered on the plane are free
Not all flights offer free meals.
1. Low-cost airlines such as Okay Airways and Spring Airlines only provide a bottle of mineral water, and do not provide free catering service, so they can buy it at their own expense on the plane.
2. China International Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Hainan Airlines and other major domestic airlines can provide free meals.
3. Providing free meals has its own standards. Those who exceed the standards will be charged. For example, on long-distance flights, red wine is provided, but if you need some alcohol such as whiskey, you have to pay extra for it.
4. according to the flight time, if the flight time is more than one and a half hours during the meal time, a free dinner will be provided. If it is more than 2 hours, free snacks are usually provided during non-meal time.
Precautions before boarding:
First, it is not advisable to eat foods containing too much cellulose and easy to ferment and produce gas before boarding, so as to avoid bloating and loss of appetite on the plane.
Second, don't eat too much greasy or high-protein food, which is not easy to digest and will lead to abdominal distension, diarrhea and airsickness.
Third, don't get on the plane hungry. Because of the changes in air temperature and air pressure during flight, the human body needs to consume more heat.
4. Eat digestible and nutritious food before boarding the plane.
5. One to one and a half hours before boarding the plane, you can choose to eat some bread, snacks, milk, lean meat and fruit according to your personal preference, as long as you are fully satisfied.
