Shuangfeng Village, Wolongshan Town, Jiaxiang County, Shandong Province has a recorded history, which originated in the early Ming Dynasty. According to legend, Wu's ancestors immigrated to the foot of the mountain from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province. Because the mountain and the village set each other off, it looks like a pair of phoenixes, so it is named Shuangfeng Village.
Shuangfeng Village is a typical mountain village in Jiaxiang County, which is under the administrative jurisdiction of Wolong Mountain Town. The village is located 82 kilometers south of National Highway 327, at the northern foot of Fengdan, about 2 kilometers away from Jiaxiang County, and the Rihe Railway transits.
There are 386 households in the village, with registered population of 1 150 and cultivated land area of 1050 mu. The main crops are wheat and corn, and the main economic sources are planting, processing, construction, catering and migrant workers. Shuangfeng Village Folk Ecological Village, as the first folk ecological village in Jiaxiang County, is a supporting project of Wolong Mountain Lake Scenic Area approved by the county party committee and government. Planning and design by Shandong Urban Planning and Architectural Design Institute, "one thing, one discussion" investment by municipal and county financial departments, fund-raising construction by village collectives and villagers, construction started in March 20 12, and the first phase of construction was completed in May, including wall restoration, Liu's courtyard renovation, folk square construction, and overall construction and paving of Jinshan Road and Bridge.
