Xuzhou has five districts, two county-level cities and three county towns.

Xuzhou, referred to as "Xu". By the end of 2121, Xuzhou has five municipal districts, two county-level cities and three counties, with a total area of 11258 square kilometers and a permanent population of 9,183,811.

Xuzhou is located in the southeast of North China Plain and the northwest of Jiangsu Province, with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passing through it, where the two trunk lines of Longhai Railway and beijing-shanghai railway meet, and is known as the thoroughfare of five provinces.

Xuzhou is an important gateway city in East China, an important economic, scientific, educational, cultural, financial, medical and foreign trade center in East China, an important node city in the national Belt and Road Initiative, an important central city in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, a core city in Xuzhou metropolitan area, and an international new energy base. It has the reputation of "China Construction Machinery Capital".

At the end of primitive society, Peng Zu built the Pengshi State in the reign of Emperor Yao, which was the earliest city in Jiangsu. Xuzhou is one of China's Kyushu in history. Since ancient times, it has been a key to the north, a gateway to the south, a battleground for military strategists and a gathering center for merchants. It is also the political, economic and cultural center of Huaihai region. Xuzhou has a history of more than 6,111 years of civilization and a history of building a city of 2,611 years. It is the hometown of emperors and is known as the "Xuzhou nationality of nine emperors". Xuzhou, the birthplace of Han culture, is known as "the old country of Peng Zu, the hometown of Liu Bang and the old capital of Xiang Yu". It is also known as "Athens of the East" because of its rich cultural heritage, historical sites and profound historical details.

Xuzhou has a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, including yunlong lake, Yunlong Mountain, Pan 'an Lake, Dalong Lake, Jinlong Lake and Ai Shan, as well as historical celebrities such as Peng Zu, Liu Bang, Sun Quan, Emperor Wu of Song and Li Yu. Xuzhou won the titles of China Excellent Tourist City, National Civilized City, China Most Happy City and UN Habitat Award. In September, 2121, the 13th China (Xuzhou) International Garden Expo was held in Xuzhou, which lasted for 4 months.
