Our modern office building is equipped with computer network system, PDMS three-dimensional design system, MIS intelligent office system and electronic file management system. Have all kinds of survey and test equipment used in engineering survey, hydrogeology and engineering geology, such as global positioning system; Owns large-scale advanced publishing equipment and sophisticated technical equipment such as OCE9600 engineering integrated machine. Professional application software covering the whole design process is introduced and developed, which has a lot of professional information. As early as 1999, the drawing rate of CAD has reached 1.000%, and it is a national demonstration enterprise of CAD technology application engineering named by the Ministry of Science and Technology. 1997 passed the audit and became the first design unit in Guizhou province to obtain the quality system certification and registration. In 2000, our institute was awarded the certificate of "Archives Management of National First-class Scientific and Technological Institutions" by the National Archives Bureau.

Long-term survey and design practice has accumulated unique design features and created brilliant achievements for Guizhou Electric Power Design and Research Institute. Carbonate strata in Guizhou are widely distributed, and karst hydrogeological conditions are complex. In many years of engineering practice and research, we have accumulated rich experience in site selection, general layout optimization and design of long-distance, high-lift, large-flow once-lifting supplementary water system, geological survey and foundation treatment in karst developed areas, typical design of power plants and substations in mountainous areas, ladder arrangement, slope protection treatment, drainage and flood discharge, transmission line optimization, and lightning protection and grounding of power generation, transmission and substation projects with high soil resistivity in mountainous areas. For the first time in China, the electrical control of 300MW units is comprehensively and systematically brought into the distributed control system (DCS) of unit units, and then a real-time monitoring system for the whole plant is formed. In engineering design, strengthen scheme optimization and design optimization, pay attention to energy saving, water saving and environmental protection, and effectively reduce the engineering cost on the premise of ensuring the design quality. Most of the projects undertaken have reached the low level of the same type and the same period in the country.

Since its establishment, * * * has completed more than 600 electric power survey and design projects with a total investment of more than 56 billion yuan. Completed more than 60 power station engineering designs with a total capacity of over 8300MW;; The total design capacity of the completed substation project exceeds 23000MVA, including more than 500kV substation 10 (total capacity12,500 MVA); The transmission line engineering design is completed more than 10000km, of which the 500kV line engineering design is completed more than 3 100km.

Our institute actively adapts to the requirements of market development, based in Guizhou, vigorously develops the domestic and foreign markets, and undertakes the design tasks of China Southern Power Grid Corporation's 500 kV Shibing-Liping compact line project, Fujian Putian gas combined cycle power station, Guangdong nine dragons paper Tommy Tam Thermal Power Plant, Chongqing Fuling Electric Aluminum Group's 220 kV power transmission and transformation project, Chongqing Jiangjin nine dragons paper Power Workshop, and Chongqing Banan 500 kV power transmission and transformation project. The design work of Engro gas turbine power station in Pakistan undertaken by our institute has entered the detailed design stage. The preliminary work of Southeast Asia and South Asia projects is being actively and orderly carried out.
