District people's governments are responsible for organizing and carrying out the classification of domestic garbage in their respective districts. The administrative department of urban sanitation of the district (hereinafter referred to as the district sanitation department) is responsible for the daily management of the classification of domestic garbage within the jurisdiction.
Business, ecological environment, property, education and other administrative departments shall, in accordance with their respective responsibilities, do a good job in the management of living garbage classification. Article 5 The municipal sanitation departments, district people's governments and other relevant units shall use publicity columns, leaflets, media and other forms to carry out publicity and popularization of knowledge on classification of domestic garbage.
The city's newspapers, radio, television and other media shall carry out publicity to popularize the knowledge of classification of household garbage. Article 6 domestic waste is divided into recyclables, hazardous waste, food waste and other waste, specifically classified in accordance with the following standards:

District people's governments shall gradually establish a system for classifying and placing household garbage at regular intervals, and formulate and publicize the work plan for classifying and placing household garbage at regular intervals under their jurisdiction. If the person responsible for the management of the categorization and placement of domestic garbage is unclear, the sanitation department shall determine and notify it in writing. Article 12 The person responsible for the management of the classification of household garbage shall perform the following duties:
(1) to set up the collection point of the classification of household garbage in accordance with the regulations, and to keep the containers for the collection of the classification of household garbage complete, intact and tidy;
(2) to publicize and guide the work of the classification of household garbage, and to advise and stop the behaviors that do not conform to the requirements of the classification of household garbage;
