KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC) is an American multinational restaurant chain and the world's second-largest fast-food and largest fried chicken chain, founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky. It mainly sells fast food such as fried chicken, and its business philosophy is to constantly introduce new products or repackage previously sold products to target people's mindset of freshness, thus gaining profits. KFC is now part of Yum Brands and has formed a strategic alliance with PepsiCo to sell carbonated beverages provided by PepsiCo on a fixed basis (with the exception of some countries, such as South Korea and Japan, which sell Coca-Cola).
