I have been to Chengdu three times as far as I can remember, but each time I was in a hurry and didn't have time to take a good look at the city. In my mind, Chengdu is a stylish and quaint place, a quiet and prosperous city, a literary and fresh gathering place, and a food capital.

Whenever Chengdu's food is mentioned, it always makes people drool. The wide range of Sichuan cuisine and various snacks always make me salivate. Perhaps because I miss the "Bashful" life in Chengdu, or perhaps because I miss the food in Chengdu, I decided to go with my best friend, and a fun and relaxing trip to Chengdu began.

Yuanyang Mansion, looking for the memory of the old Chengdu

The first stop in Chengdu, we came to Yuanyang Mansion, known as "Little Hong Kong". Ocean Express Mansion is located on Hongwasi Street. When you enter a neighborhood, you'll see a red building, and then you'll see a sign pointing to the Ocean Mansion.

Yuanyang Building is actually an older residential building. The dilapidated old building comes with two opposing staircases, visually resembling Hong Kong in a Wong Kar Wai movie. The two opposing buildings, however, hide the traces of time and witness the city's bits and pieces. When you come here, you instantly feel like you're back in the 80s, with dense spaces and the visual sense of Hong Kong's monster buildings.

Dilapidated facade, red wooden windows, narrow stairway, some bits and pieces of clothes hanging on the external wire drying racks, living debris in the hallway, some small plants on the balcony . I remember that day when we just arrived at Yuanyang Building, my good friend said that there are many such buildings in Guangzhou. Now, it has become a photo spot for Chengdu internet celebrities, and many people come here, I think they come to see what the Mandarin's House used to look like.

Although the residents here are very warm and used to the people who come here to take photos, there are still residents living in the building, so we must not affect the normal life of the residents when we visit and take photos.

The memory of the eastern suburbs

The memory of the eastern suburbs is the original Chengdu Music Park, a creative cultural park integrating music, art and photography. Office buildings, red-brick factories, locomotives and railroad tracks make up what is now Dongjiao Memory, full of nostalgia and a gathering place for young artists and photographers.

Every city seems to have its own creative park. I've been to Chongqing's No. 202 Factory and Guangzhou's Red Brick Factory . I like the countless creative elements in the creative parks, and I like to walk through the combination of retro and fashionable creative parks to feel the city's past life and present life.

So on our day in Chengdu, we chose a day to come to the eastern suburbs to reminisce.

As soon as we entered the park we felt a strong sense of industrial nostalgia.

Cute cartoon characters are everywhere, graffiti all over the walls and so on. It is a major feature of the park, full of literary norms.

Inadvertently into a building, the wall is covered with a variety of pictures, graffiti and so on. Each creative, as if into a colorful world.

In this, the most attractive is this flour and blue wall. Looking at it is very romantic, the heart of girls instantly burst.

Coming to the other side of the factory, the tall chimneys of the past are full of industrial feeling. These old buildings are the memories of the old generation, witnessing the changes of the times.

There are also many small literary stores in the park. Both the color and layout of the stores are very creative and can give you a visual impact of color.

Here, you may want to walk into a creative specialty store, order a drink, sit quietly and enjoy a relaxing time.

The unassuming pink wall hidden in the corner attracted me. Who knows how much I love the color pink? It's a small corner, but it's just so appealing.

At Locomotive Square, you can see the Dongfanghong 1519 steam train and two green carriages. It is said to be one of the first steam trains in Sichuan province, and has great significance for the times.

Inside the carriage is a train-themed restaurant and cafe, into the carriage, are full of traces of the years. The restaurant waiters also wear the uniform of the train crew, a sense of immersion.

In the summer afternoon, come here, sitting by the window looking out at the pedestrians coming and going, time inadvertently flow away. Though I rarely take the green train now, sitting here reminds me of the first time I took the green train, so familiar memories are worth cherishing.

In Dongjiao Memory, you can stroll around slowly for a day without getting bored. You can feel the charm of the old times with your heart, experience the development and change of the city now, and also recall the lost years. U37 Creative Warehouse, a niche literary card place

U37 Creative Warehouse is relatively more niche than Dongjiao Memory, small and exquisite. It's very quiet, and there's an air of "desolation" about it. Maybe it's because we came here in the morning, there are a lot of small stores are not open for business, occasionally see some passers-by, or meet some people like us to take pictures of the card.

U37 Creative Warehouse was originally a warehouse and factory of Chengdu Pharmaceutical Group, and has been remodeled since 2012, with many of the buildings retaining the look of the 70s and 80s. Although U37 is small, there are restaurants, cafes, pubs, clothing stores, photography galleries and other creative stores, each with its own unique decoration.

The place may feel "desolate" but it's tree-lined, with fences covered in vines, graffiti on the walls, and bold color schemes that make it a refreshingly literary place.

The U37 Creative Warehouse is not a big place, and it takes about an hour to get through it. If you look carefully inside, you will find that there are many small corners or staircases that are very interesting. A worn-out staircase can be transformed into a beautiful landscape with the help of graffiti.

IBOX Love Box, a colorful creative space built from containers

IBOX Love Box is not far from U37 Creative Warehouse, so we walked to IBOX Love Box after walking out of U37 Creative Warehouse.

IBOX Love Box is a creative space based on BOX-PARK, the most popular and artistic new landmark in London, with red, yellow, blue and black as the main colors and 22 containers, which is rich in artistic atmosphere.

There are various art styles of creative stores, as well as flower arranging, pottery and other on-site creations, red, yellow, blue and black clashing color collocation, very colorful, especially conspicuous on the roadside. But here in the sun and rain, the color of the container began to slowly fade.

The containers are mainly three-story, with different metal staircases connecting different boxes, so you may encounter an unexpected surprise around the corner.

Wenshu Temple, a quiet place

Wenshu Temple, built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, is one of the most important temples of Buddhism in China, and one of the earliest temples in Chengdu, which is now one of the famous attractions in Chengdu, but it's a place where the crowds of people are different from those of Kuanzaraku Alley and Jinli. But unlike the crowded streets of Kuan-Narrow-Alley and Jin-Li, Wenshu Temple, which is in the heart of Chengdu's city center, is as pure as the mountains.

From the Wenshu Square pagoda, a red wall attracts many photographers to take pictures, especially in the afternoon when the sun's rays shine down, the red wall and trees have a unique flavor.

If every city has a fashion landmark, then IFS, Taikoo Li shopping district is the best witness of Chengdu. Chengdu IFS International Finance Center and Taikoo Li is only separated by a sarcophagus street, but it is more international and modern. When you're in Taikoo Li, you can't miss out on hitting up my idol, linefriends, which is the second linefriends in China. As the second linefriends flagship store in China, this store doesn't look like much, but it's always packed with people.

A big brown bear at the entrance is the center of attention, attracting people from all directions, and you can see it from afar, so there are a lot of people who come to take pictures with it.
