The origin of the place name of Wolong Temple in Baoji: In the early Song Dynasty, Guo Hui, a monk, entered the temple and lay high all day. People called him "Wolong monk". Therefore, Shigang Temple in Song Taizong was named "Wolong Temple". Wolong Temple, located in Baishulin Street, beilin district, Xi City, Shaanxi Province, is a key Buddhist temple in the Han area of China identified by the State Council. According to the inscription in the temple, Wolong Temple was built in the period of Emperor Ling of Han Dynasty (168- 189).
