Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Changsha is located in the middle of China, the lower reaches of Xiangjiang River, the west edge of Changliu Basin and the northeast of Hunan Province, with a subtropical monsoon climate, mild climate, abundant precipitation, distinct four seasons and superior geographical position. The school is located in Xingcheng Changsha, the meeting place of Hunan Province. It is one of the first national historical and cultural cities. Known as "the hometown of Qujia" and "the famous city of Chu and Han", it embodies the Huxiang culture of "practical application and eclecticism". There are Mawangdui Han Tomb, Siyang Fangzun, Three Kingdoms Wu Bamboo Slips, Yuelu Academy, Tongguan Kiln and other historical sites. There are scenic spots such as Yuelu Mountain-Juzizhou Tourist Area, huaminglou, Changsha Window of the World, Dawei Mountain National Forest Park, Hunan Provincial Museum, lei feng memorial and Changsha Yanghu Wetland Park.
