Is there any specific requirement for English to work in Singapore!
Singaporean locals, as long as they have received formal education, English is very good, although usually they may not always speak English or used to speak less pure English, but in formal occasions they can speak English very well, this point can be found inside the school, basically in addition to the pronunciation of the different outside, their English level with the British and Americans is not much difference, but due to the fact that this place will be too many people will be able to cope with the Chinese language in most occasions. However, since there are too many Chinese speakers in Singapore, most of the occasions can be dealt with in Chinese. For Chinese students, although they can adapt to the life very quickly, they have fewer chances to practise their English. But if you graduate, you will have to find a job, do presentations in class, or just study in general, and still have a high demand for English, so there is a contradiction, and it gives people the impression that Singapore has less opportunities to practice English, but still has a very high demand for English.
