Etiquette to pay attention to are:
1. The wine bottle label faces itself and is held in one third of the wine bottle.
2. In China, two thirds of the wine is poured, and half of the western food is poured unless the guests have special requirements.
3. Proceed counterclockwise, starting with the guest sitting on the left, and finally yourself.
4. If you are a relative of your family, start with the senior and end with yourself.
5. When drinking with colleagues, customers and bosses, be the host and guest, and pay attention to ladies first.
pouring order
1. When pouring wine, pour some for the host to taste. After the host expresses satisfaction, pour wine for the guests in turn from the host's right (ladies and the elderly are preferred). When pouring wine, every guest should be able to see the label of the wine.
2. Because the specifications, objects and national customs of the banquet are different, the pouring order should be flexible and diverse. When entertaining guests in Asia, if the guest of honor is a man, you should pour the male guest first, then the female guest, and finally pour the wine for the host to show the host's respect for the guests. When serving European and American guests, the female guest should be served first, then the male guest should be served.
3. The wine glass is always placed on the guest's right, so the wine is also poured from the guest's right. Pour the wine in front of the guests. In a particularly advanced banquet service, if the guest wants a glass of red wine that has been aged for many years, the waiter should hold the glass in his left hand and slowly pour the wine into the glass. It is not allowed for the guest to pour the wine into the cup or into the cup with dishes next to it.
