Xiaotangshan Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park is located in the plain area at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, with fertile land and convenient transportation. The park is located17km north of the Asian Games Village,10km east of the Capital International Airport and 5km west of Badaling Expressway. The Sixth Ring Road and Jingcheng expressway pass through the park. Covering Xiaotangshan, Cuicun, Xingshou and Zhude. There are abundant water resources here, surrounded by eight rivers such as Wenyu River, Hulu River and Lingou River, among which the exploitable area of geothermal resources is 100 square kilometers.

Xiaotangshan Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park was named as the National Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park in Changping District of Beijing by the Ministry of Science and Technology and other six ministries in 20001year. It is the only national agricultural science and technology demonstration park in Beijing. In recent years, it has been named as "Beijing Science Popularization Education Base", "Beijing Patriotism Education Base", "Introduction of Foreign Intellectual Achievements Promotion Demonstration Base", "National Industrial and Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Point", "Scientific Experiment Base" and "Beijing Garden Unit" by Beijing Municipal Government, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and National Tourism Administration.

With the improvement of people's living standards, "pursuing nature and longing for green" has become a way of life. As a new thing, green sightseeing agriculture has quietly come to us. After 7 years, Xiaotangshan Agricultural Park has been built into a modern agricultural sightseeing park integrating tourism, agricultural investigation, popular science education, hydrotherapy, special catering, planting and picking, and safe vegetable production.
