what is "6S management"
"6s management" is an effective concept and method of on-site management in modern factories. Its function is to improve efficiency, ensure quality, make the working environment clean and orderly, give priority to prevention and ensure safety.
1. SEIRI)—— Classify anything in the workplace as necessary and unnecessary, and eliminate everything except what is necessary to stay.
purpose: to make room for flexible use, prevent misuse and create a refreshing workplace.
2. SEITON)—— Put the necessary articles left behind in the specified position and mark them neatly.
purpose: the workplace can be seen at a glance, which can eliminate the time of searching for articles, create a neat working environment and eliminate excessive overstocked articles.
3. SEISO)—— Clean the visible and invisible places in the workplace and keep the workplace clean and beautiful.
objective: to stabilize the quality and reduce industrial injuries.
4. Seiketsu-maintain the above 3S achievements.
5. literacy (shitsuke)-each member develops good habits, follows the rules and works, and develops a proactive spirit (also known as habit).

5S are five items: sorting (SEIRI), rectifying (SEITON), cleaning (SEISO), cleaning (SEIKETSU) and accomplishment (SHITSUKE), because Japanese pinyin all starts with "s", which is abbreviated as 5S.
5S originated in Japan, and its ultimate goal is to improve people's quality by standardizing the scene and existing things, creating a clear working environment and cultivating employees' good working habits:
