The reason why many farmers are unwilling to "change coal into gas" in rural areas is: 1. The price of natural gas is high and there is a "natural gas shortage". 2. The equipment installation fee cannot be compensated. In rural areas, firewood and coal are used for cooking and heating, and houses are built without natural gas pipelines. In order to use natural gas, ditches must be reopened and pipelines must be laid. Rural residents are far away, and the cost of installation materials will be high. Although there is a 70% subsidy for purchasing equipment in rural areas, the maximum amount is 2700 yuan. Many rural natural gas families spend more than 6000 yuan. In addition to subsidies, farmers themselves have to pay more than 3,000 yuan. This subsidy is embarrassing.

3. The influence of coal on electricity. Changing coal into electricity is the need of facing the national power grid, and the rural areas implement the policy of "rural power grid transformation". At most, each household can lay a line as long as 1000 yuan, and most of the electricity is used by farmers. Local gas companies change coal to gas, but their equipment is mainly wall-hung boiler manufacturers. Companies installing equipment under different contracts will choose different manufacturers, and their equipment will be very different. The cost of coal for electricity and natural gas is also different. Farmers can only wait and see.

4. There are security risks for the elderly. A reality in rural areas is that young people and middle-aged people go to work in cities, and there are only old people and children at home. Old people who are used to firewood and carbon will be confused if they are not used to fresh natural gas. They have to say that there are some security issues worth considering.
