10 12 just returned from an internship in Beijing for half a year at the end of February. I am an intern in a five-star hotel on the second ring road. Kempinski is not bad. However, the hotel industry is really not so good for interns, and the basement where they live has been transformed into a warehouse. Wet, completely different from what the hotel promised the school before. I'm the receptionist. I work shifts, night shifts, middle shifts and early shifts. It's quite tiring for us students who have just left school.

Our hotel is located in the embassy district on the second ring road. There are many foreigners, and the work intensity is also great. There is a lot of money coming in and out every day, and the pressure is great. In hotels, interns are cheap labor, hotels like to exploit interns, and some departments also have many cases in which old employees bully new employees. My classmate is a concierge and often stays out for eight hours in winter. Regular employees who work at night shifts are reluctant to participate, and most of them are interns. It is common for the catering department to work several hours a day when it is busy. The Ministry of Home Affairs makes more than a dozen rooms every day, which is euphemistically called learning something, but how much technical content does even the aunt make the bed and fold the quilt?

However, from the perspective of the future, it is still recommended to be the front desk, and I will study more. Also, be selfish, deal with money every day and don't have to wait on others. It is more in line with college students' concept of career choice.

If you want to develop space, it is recommended to study abroad and then go back to the hotel. Our hotel is an old-fashioned hotel. The front desk staff will be promoted to foreman for at least two years, then to supervisor, plus four or five years. This is already very optimistic, and the catering department has been promoted in eight years. I've been in this business for more than ten or twenty years, and I still don't know what a boss is. If it is a newly opened hotel, the situation will probably be more optimistic. Hotels, if you want to get promoted, you still have to jump ship.

As for the salary, our interns range from 600 to 800, and this money can hardly survive in Beijing. Full-time employees, the front desk is about 2500, and the catering and room hours are 2000. After deducting five insurances and one gold, it's not that much.

I probably know so much, I hope it will help you!
