Article 29 (Site Selection Requirements)

The site selection of a project shall strictly implement the regulations on environmental protection management of construction projects, and meet the following requirements:

(1) No catering service (including canteen) projects that may produce oil fume shall be set up in the commercial and residential buildings adjacent to the residential floors;

(2) No projects involving painting, slaughtering, tanning, feed processing, food fermentation, etc. that produce malodorous, toxic and harmful gases shall be operated in residential quarters, schools and hospitals, and shops along key streets.

Article 31 (Prevention and Control of Catering Services)

Operators of catering services (including canteens) shall abide by the following provisions:

(1) Set up fume purification devices and ensure their normal operation and discharge up to the standard;

(2) set up a special flue, and the height and position of its discharge port shall not affect the living and working environment of the surrounding residents;

(3) It is forbidden to illegally occupy the streets or operate open-air food stalls that produce pollution in densely populated areas.

Article 31 (Prohibition of Burning)

It is forbidden to burn asphalt, paint, linoleum, rubber, plastic, leather, garbage, fallen leaves, straws and other substances that produce toxic and harmful gases or smoke in key areas for air pollution prevention and control, densely populated areas, around airports and near traffic trunk lines.

article 32 (management of production waste gas)

if converter gas, calcium carbide gas, yellow phosphorus tail gas, organic hydrocarbon tail gas, sulfur-containing compound gas, gas containing radioactive substances, aerosol and other industrial waste gas, malodorous gas, toxic and harmful gas, dust or dioxins are discharged into the atmosphere, preventive measures shall be taken and shall not exceed the prescribed discharge standards.
