Huanai Design Fund: What makes you want to be a designer? What is the significance of this profession to you?
He Wei: I have been working for 11 years. I liked tooling when I was a student, which is what we often call architectural design. But I chose interior design by mistake, and I have been engaged in this major since graduation. After learning about interior design, I found that I like this industry better, perhaps because I am a girl, and I am more sensitive to the layout of the home environment.
Huanai Design Fund: Take your own experience as an example to talk about your views on the current growth environment of China home designers.
He Wei: Home improvement design is more and more accepted by the public. Taking design style as an example, designers are required and challenged more and more, and at the same time, their ideas and innovative abilities are greatly stimulated. At the same time, customers are more tolerant of design style, which is a great support for designers. Now designers can start to control the whole more and more, and their happiness and sense of accomplishment are getting higher and higher. Interior designers will develop in a better and better trend.
Huanai Design Fund: Designers are considered as a group representing fashion trends, so what do you think the future trends of home design may be?
he Wei: innovation and intelligence are essential, and the trend pursued by the public largely determines the future development trend. Because the public is paying more and more attention to experience, such as indoor lighting, modern people have begun to pursue intelligent debugging, such as kitchens that can cook intelligently, reducing time and improving efficiency, which are what the public yearns for and expects, and can also be achieved. Environmental protection, green and simplicity are an overall trend in the future. Environmental protection means not only avoiding formaldehyde, but also the sustainable use of products, which are all aspects that need to be considered in future design.
Huanai Design Fund: Huanai Design Fund was originally established to help more young designers grow up. As a designer, what expectations do you have for this fund?
He Wei: Thanks to Huanai Design Fund, young designers need a platform and space for growth and development. Huanai can bring designers together, learn from each other's strong points, learn and communicate, and hope to hold such learning and communication activities many times in the future to help our growth.
Huanai Design Fund hopes to promote the development of China's design. Starting from the cross-border, * * * will create a "blueprint for future design", endow designers with a higher forward-looking level and ability, and make design a more powerful force and a stronger cultural support point in China and even in the future development.
