How to calculate the decoration area

Ground area

The construction area includes the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and corridor of each room. For example, the building area of the living room is equal to the length and width of the living room, and the unit is square meters. By analogy, the area of bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and corridor is calculated in this way. Calculate the area and then calculate the amount of building materials. Building materials used on the ground generally include wood floors and floor tiles. How to calculate the amount of wood floor and floor tile according to the housing area? The calculation formula is as follows:

floor

Common specifications are 900× 90× 18mm, 750× 90× 18mm and 600× 90× 18mm.

Accurate calculation method: (room length ÷ floor length) × (room width ÷ floor width) = number of floors used.

Take an 8-meter-long 5-meter room on the 900×90×0. 18-meter floor as an example:

The room length is 8m; Plate length 0.9m = 9 pieces; The room width is 5m; Board width 0.09m = 56 pieces.

9 blocks long × 56 blocks wide = 504 blocks in total.

However, you need to add 3%~5% more when you buy a wooden floor, so there will be some loss during the installation of the floor. If there are not enough floors, it will be very troublesome to buy another floor.

firebrick

Common floor tile specifications are 0.6×0.6 m, 0.5×0.5 m, 0.4×0.4 m and 0.3×0.3 m. ..

Accurate calculation method: (house length/brick length) × house width/brick width) = number of bricks used.

Take a room 7 meters long and 5 meters wide, using 0.3×0.3 floor tiles as an example:

Room length is 7m/0.3m = 24 bricks, room width is 5m/0.3m = 17 bricks, and length is 24 × width 17 bricks = 408 bricks.

Floor tiles will have a loss of about 3% in paving, just like wood floors.

Top surface area

The top surface area and the ground area are basically the same, but the decoration of the top surface and the ground is different. The building materials used for top decoration generally include paint, ceiling, top corner line and lighting roof. The calculation method of paint dosage is as follows:

The packaging of paint latex paint is basically divided into 5 liters and 15 liters. Take the commonly used household capacity of 5 liters as an example. The theoretical brushing area of 5 liters is twice that of 35 square meters.

Accurate calculation method: (length+width) ×2× room height = wall area. Length × width = top surface area (wall surface area+top surface area-door and window area) ÷ 35 = number of buckets used.

Take a room 5 meters long, 3 meters wide and 2.9 meters high as an example. The painted area of indoor walls and roofs is calculated as follows:

Wall area: (5m+3m) × 2× 2.9m = 46.4m.

Top surface area: (5m× 3m) = 15m2.

Coating amount: (46.4+15) ÷ 35m2 =1.7 barrels.

However, the ceiling, top corner line and lighting ceiling are less used, so we can wait until the design drawing comes out.

Wall area

The calculation of the wall area is more complicated than the calculation of the floor area and the top surface area, because the wall area has many unfolded surfaces, and there are doors, windows or places to fix furniture, so the door, window area and fixed furniture area should be deducted in the calculation.

The building materials used in the wall are paint, stone, wall tiles, wallpaper, soft bags, dado and skirting. The calculation method of paint is the same as that used for top surface. Please refer to the calculation method of paint above.

The calculation method of wallpaper consumption is as follows:

The common wallpaper specifications are10m long and 0.53m wide.

Accurate calculation method: the length of each roll of wallpaper ÷ the actual height of the room = the number of parts used.

Room perimeter ÷ wallpaper width = total number of units used.

Total number of units used ÷ number of components used = number of wallpapers used.

However, it should be noted that when calculating the amount of wallpaper, the height of the skirting board and the top line should be subtracted; Other building materials are used less and the calculation is relatively simple, so I won't say much here.
