The purpose of the Association is to carry forward the long-established culinary culture of the Chinese nation, to strengthen the cultural exchanges between the East and the West, to enhance the level of gastronomic appreciation of consumers, to actively promote the development of the cause of gastronomy and culture in the province, and to make contributions to the flourishing development of Sichuan's catering and tourism industries as well as the construction of the two civilizations.
