It depends on what your future goals are.
Do you want a high salary or a good job search?
Considering the language problem, I didn't recommend management jobs, literature jobs and government jobs.
A job that is easy to find-
First of all, the demand for accounting is in short supply, and people from China have a good foundation in mathematics. The starting salary of accounting is ok, but there is not much room for appreciation, and there are many repeated activities every day. You can take the exam for a few years and then hold a meeting and open an accounting firm, and your income will go up.
Similarly, senior actuaries also need to have a mathematical foundation, but the market here is oversupply for this profession, because there are not many industries and enterprises in BC Province, but the annual salary of senior actuaries is very high ~ ~
Vancouver's real estate market is very good, and house prices are very high. It is very easy to find a job as a real estate agent. If you can speak Mandarin and English, you will definitely have customers. If you meet Cantonese again, it will be very popular.
The insurance industry also has a good market, because the tax system here is very strict, and there are many rich people to help customers manage money and invest. This is also a popular profession. Doing this is not very challenging. Many immigrants in their thirties and forties can do this very well.
You can also take the teacher qualification exam and become a high school Putonghua teacher or math teacher or tutor. The former is aimed at China people, while the latter is aimed at westerners, with little difficulty.
There are also jobs in various service industries, such as sales and roofing. Although the position is not high, it doesn't sound so good, but it is in short supply, and strangely, the salary in this line is much higher than that in domestic counterparts, but since I have come out to go to school, I should at least make a name for myself, otherwise what my family thinks, so I don't recommend it.
Then there's the high-paying job-
First, of course, it is a doctor, but because of the large vocabulary and high elimination rate, you must learn English well, and you should make plans to study for 10 years or more. If you are willing to challenge yourself and you are already a very motivated student in China, you can really try. The annual salary of a specialist can easily reach 1 10,000 Canadian dollars (including various benefits); Family doctors have a slow pace, but there are many tourists, especially those who can speak Mandarin. Dentists have to fight a protracted war, and after a long time, they will gain; Veterinarians are also worth considering
Lawyers are also well paid, but language accounts for a large proportion.
It is said upstairs that hotel management is the most popular in Switzerland, and you can get a master's degree in Europe in five years. In North America, university study takes four years. This is one of the reasons. Second, the Swiss hotel management industry is very mature, and even the internship schools help arrange it. Thirdly, the hotel management industry is difficult for non-English speaking countries to upgrade, so it is not very suitable for development here, which is why people who study this industry go to Switzerland.
There are many others, such as IT industry, petroleum engineering (which is better in America) and so on, but the threshold and elimination rate are second only to doctor's salary.
What I want to say is that doing business here is a big job, but it is much more difficult to get into the business than in China. One is that there are fewer people, and the other is that the system is much more rigorous.
Many students in China come out to study science, but the reality is that the situation here is completely different from that in China. In fact, the time needed to find an ideal job is similar to the time needed to study medicine, but the salary is far from it (many seniors I know have encountered this problem). Many students later switched to medicine. Because their vocabulary is still good, but for those who are majoring in physical chemistry, it is still good to stay in the laboratory at last ... Some students majoring in physics steal its thunder, while others majoring in chemistry steal its thunder (in other words, pharmacists are a very good profession, with high salary and stable income increasing with age). The reason why they want to study in Europe is the same as hotel management. The rigorous style of study in Europe is more suitable for the thinking of domestic students.
I wrote a lot at once. To be honest, I think I should be younger than you ... but I am willing to help others:)
I suggest you take a look at the following two websites about the official occupation code (NOC) and working conditions (including salary, unemployment rate, entry requirements, etc. ) In Canada:
