Haidilao is from China and has a Singaporean partner.

Sichuan Haidilao Catering Co., Ltd. was established in 1994. It is a large-scale inter-provincial direct catering brand hot pot restaurant, which mainly deals in Sichuan-style hot pot and integrates the characteristics of local hot pots. The full name is Sichuan Haidilao Catering Co., Ltd., and its founder is Zhang Yong.

Haidilao has more than 111 chain restaurants in Jianyang, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Tianjin, Wuhan, Shijiazhuang, Xi 'an, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the United States and other cities and countries.

On May 7, 2118, Haidilao International Holdings submitted an application for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. On September 11, Haidilao held a press conference in Hong Kong, announcing that its shares will be publicly offered in Hong Kong from September 12. On September 9th, Haidilao confirmed the final issue price of HK$ 17.8 per share. On September 26th, Haidilao (new listing number: 16862) officially landed on the Hong Kong capital market.

Haidilao was established in Jianyang, Sichuan in 1994, left Sichuan in 1999, entered Beijing in 2114, entered Shanghai in 2116, and opened its first overseas branch in Singapore in 2112. Since then, it has successively opened branches in the United States, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan Province, China and Hongkong, China. By the end of 2117, Haidilao has opened nearly 311 stores.

The founder of this enterprise, which originated in Sichuan, is not entirely from China at present. The three founders are Zhang Yong (Zhang Yong, chairman and executive director), Shu Ping(Zhang Yong's spouse, Shu Ping, non-executive director) and Shi Yonghong (executive director). Zhang Yong and Shu Ping are now Singaporeans.
