Article 13 of Measures for the Administration of Registration of Individual Business Names

To apply for pre-approval of the name of an individual business, the following materials shall be submitted by the applicant or the agent entrusted by the applicant to the registration authority in the place where the business is located:

(1) Application for Pre-approval of the Name of an Individual Business;

(2) Proof of identity of the operator;

(iii) If the operator entrusts an agent to handle the application, he shall also submit a power of attorney and proof of identity of the agent.

Article 14

After accepting the application for pre-approval of the name of an individual industrial or commercial enterprise, the registration authority shall make a decision on the spot to approve the registration or reject the application. Approved for registration, shall be issued to the "individual business name pre-approval notice"; rejected the application, shall be issued to the "individual business name dismissal notice", and on the spot to the applicant to explain the reasons for dismissal.
