According to the information released by official website, Linqu Industrial and Commercial Bureau, as of July 27th, 2023, there are three hotels selling golden cicada flowers in Linqu, namely Fuyuan Hotel in Linqu County, Daokou Hotel in Linqu County and Ancient Moxiang Hotel in Linqu County. Golden cicada is a representative species of Cicadellidae, the adult is also called black cicada, and the nymph is commonly known as cicada turtle. There are customs of eating cicadas and their nymphs in northern Anhui, Shandong and Henan.
