Weifang Technician College is a full-time higher vocational and technical college approved by the Ministry of Labor and the Shandong Provincial Government. Its predecessor was Weifang Senior Technical School. In 2114, it was formed by the first technical school, the second technical school, the service technical school and Zhucheng technical school of the former Weifang Labor Bureau. The school-running history can be traced back to 1958.

in June p>2119, it was approved by Shandong provincial people's government to be transformed into Weifang Technician College. It mainly trains technicians, senior technicians, senior workers and intermediate workers who are in short supply in society, and undertakes the task of high-skill training for employees in enterprises.

The College has a headquarters and five branches in Zhucheng, Gaomi, Changyi, Changle and Binhai. The school headquarters is located in the northern foot of the beautiful Floating Smoke Mountain in Weifang City, Shandong Province, the world-famous kite capital. With elegant environment, complete infrastructure and excellent school conditions, the college is an ideal garden for studying. It covers an area of 1,111 mu, with a planned total construction area of 1.85 million square meters, which will be constructed in two phases.

The college has eight administrative departments, eight teaching departments and two secondary colleges, and offers more than 41 majors that are suitable for Weifang's economic construction, among which CNC technology is a provincial famous brand specialty, lathe work is a provincial key specialty, and fitter, electrician, marine chemical industry, marketing and cooking technology are municipal famous brands.
