"Xiamen University Siming Campus Visiting Management Regulations" are as follows:
1. From October 22, 2018 onwards, no more than 1,000 visitors will be received from 12:30 to 14:00 on each normal working day, and no visitors will be received at any other time of the day. No more than 5,000 visitors will be received per day during weekends and summer and winter vacations. During national holidays, no more than 10,000 visitors per day.
2. Visitors enter the school through the south gate and the Qunxian gate, while visitors are not allowed to enter the other gates. Private vehicles are not allowed to enter the school.
3. Visitors must make a reservation in advance through "U Xiamen University" WeChat public number, arrive at the gate at the reserved time, and enter the university after the verification of human ID.
4. Visitors are not allowed to enter non-visit areas such as teaching and research places, student dormitories and family areas.

Introduction of Xiamen University:
August 1919, Chen Jiageng in Shanghai to appoint national education celebrities Cai Yuanpei, Huang Yanpei, Wang Jingwei, Yu Rizhang, Guo Bingwen, Hu Dunfu, Huang Wan, Ye Yuan, Deng Zuiying and other 10 people as preparatory staff.
In October 1919, the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee of the private Xiamen University was held to draw up the Outline of the Organization of Xiamen University, and the meeting elected Deng Cuiying as the first president of Xiamen University, Zheng Zhenwen as the provost, and Ho Kung-dang as the chief of the general affairs department.
On April 6, 1921, Xiamen University borrowed the Jimei School to hold its opening ceremony, and was founded as a private institution with two departments: teacher training (including arts and sciences) and commerce.
On July 4, 1921, Lin Wenqing accepted Mr. Chen Jiageng's invitation to succeed him as president of Xiamen University. During the period when Lin was in charge of the university, he successively established additional departments of engineering, journalism, law, medicine, and so on, and initially built up a multidisciplinary comprehensive university.
