It is even more difficult to practice in the sales department. Good sales department, few people are in the office all the time, and they all go out to visit guests for business contact. In a small part of time, they have to go to various departments of the hotel to accompany customers. What you can do is to help the staff organize the documents.

Generally speaking, the main purpose of internship is to let you know the difference between theory and practice and adapt to this difference. If you really want to learn something from it, I advise you not to expect someone to teach you like a teacher. You must try to discover new knowledge by yourself, and then try to absorb it.
