Share with you my part-time experience in a hotel?
First of all, I want to tell you the background. My uncle and Menstruation once jointly opened a modest restaurant, specializing in steaming vegetables. At that time, anyway, during the summer vacation, I didn't have any other activities besides necessary social practice. The hotel is short of people, and my mother is also helping. They want to ask me for help. Of course, the author agreed without hesitation. As a qualified "helper", the so-called "waiter", you should be proficient in everything. For example, if there are many guests coming, you need to order food at the same time. If there are not enough people ordering food, you must be the first substitute. Similarly, cashier, cleaning, washing dishes and so on. All-round and comprehensive work is quite training. What impresses me most is that the author Menstruation and others get up at four o'clock every day to buy food and wash vegetables, make a series of preparations, and then stay in that busy world all day, like a top. It's not over yet. If business is good, the closing time will definitely need to be postponed, and it is common in the early hours of the morning or even two or three o'clock. So it is really contradictory, because you want a lot of guests, sometimes not so many, and you are exhausted if you are not careful. In fact, it doesn't matter if you get used to it, but everything is difficult at the beginning, especially in the catering industry, because if you don't work hard, you may not be able to earn food that day and make a living. Taken apart, it is business and life. With the improvement of living conditions, we and our descendants need to engage in less and less physical labor, and many truths in life cannot be realized. Therefore, I feel that participating in such social practice activities has an indelible role in promoting my healthy physical and mental development!
