The Decision of the Jilin Provincial People's Government on the Abolition of 348 Normative Documents has been adopted by the Eighth Standing Meeting of the Provincial Government on August 26, 2005, and is hereby promulgated to come into force on the date of its promulgation.

Over the past few decades, the provincial government and the General Office of the Provincial Government and the provincial government departments issued a large number of normative documents to strengthen the administrative management, to promote economic development and social progress has played an important role. But some of the documents and the subsequent introduction of national laws, administrative regulations and policy measures contradict; some of the documents are formulated during the planned economy, its management measures and means have not adapted to the requirements of the market economic system and the need for reform of the administrative system; some of the documents set in the administrative licensing program has been canceled, the document itself has lost its practical significance.
