Laoshan Columbarium is located at No. A17, Shijingshan Road, Shijingshan District, Beijing, and belongs to Babaoshan Funeral Parlor, which is a large-scale temporary storage place for ashes in Beijing. The maximum number of ashes stored in the columbarium was 40,000 to 50,000, but by 2011, the number of ashes stored in the columbarium had been reduced to 10,000. 2010, the first phase of the renovation of the old mountain columbarium was launched, and was completed in 2011, with the reinforcement of the urn storage racks of the upper halls and the completion of the interior decoration. 2011, the second phase of the renovation project of the old mountain columbarium was launched, with the reconstruction of the lower halls, which was completed within the year of 2011, and was completed within the year of 2010. The Old Mountain Columbarium is located on a hill. The hill is located south of Laoshan (Laoshan City Recreation Park) (between the two hills there is Laoshan South Road and a large area of flat land), north of Shijingshan Road, east of Laoshan East Street, due south of the direction of Lugu Street. The Laoshan Columbarium was originally built as the "Zhongling Tower" for the ashes of Japanese soldiers invading China during the Anti-Japanese War. After the victory in the Anti-Japanese War, it was changed into Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall (Shrine of Loyalty). During the period of the People's Republic of China, it was changed into the Laoshan Columbarium. Nowadays, the original Zhonglie Ancestral Hall in the front hall after the square tower does not exist, other buildings still exist. Zhonglieci is Shijingshan District census registered cultural relics.
