3 Terminology and Definitions

The following terminology and definitions are applicable to this standard.

3.1 Travel agency

Provides relevant tourism services for travelers, carries out domestic tourism business, inbound tourism business or outbound tourism business, and implements independent accounting.

4 Grading and Representation

5 Rating Conditions

The travel agencies participating in the rating should meet the following conditions.

5.1 Basic Conditions

5.3 Operation and Management

5.3.1 Marketing Management

6 Achievement Evaluation and Management

6.1 Rating

6.1.1 Evaluation Organization and Responsibilities

The Travel Agency Rating Committee was set up in Shandong Province and in each city to be responsible for the rating of travel agencies in the province and in each city respectively.

6.1.1.1 Duties of the Travel Agency Rating Committee:

a) to formulate the work plan for rating and reviewing travel agencies in the province and organize the implementation;

b) to select, train and assess the provincial evaluation inspectors in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality;

c) to be responsible for the final evaluation, review, supervision, inspection, determination and filing of the province's 5A travel agencies;

c) to be in charge of the final evaluation, review, supervision, inspection and filing of the province's 5A travel agencies; and inspection, identification and filing;

d) supervising the municipal travel agency rating committees in rating and evaluating the travel agencies, and assessing the rating results of the municipalities.

6.1.1.2 Duties of the Travel Agency Grading Committee:

b) To select, train and assess municipal examiners in accordance with the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality;

Rating Application

All travel agencies with rating conditions can apply to the local travel agency rating committee for the corresponding rating. Application materials include:

a) Application for Rating of Travel Agencies;

b) Copies of Travel Agency Business License and Business License;

C) Self-Assessment Score Sheet of Travel Agency Rating Scale and other necessary supporting materials.

Rating

6.1.3.1 After accepting the application, the Travel Agency Rating Committee will promptly arrange for rating and inspection.

For travel agencies passing the grade assessment of 6.1.3.4, the Provincial Travel Agency Grade Assessment Committee shall recognize and uniformly issue the corresponding grade mark and announce it to the public.

For travel agencies that have not passed the 6.1.3.5 rating and recognition, the corresponding travel agency rating committee shall give an explanation.

6.2 Grade Management

6.2.1 The useful life of the grade is three years.

6.4 Grades

6.4.1 The travel agency grade mark refers to the travel agency grade mark produced and issued by the Shandong Province Travel Agency Grade Evaluation Committee.

6.4.2 The travel agency grade mark shall be placed in a prominent position in the business premises of the travel agency.
