Camping in Tap Mun Island is a common leisure and holiday travel mode for many foreign tourists and Hong Kong citizens. You need to pay attention to many things when camping, such as safety, catering, sightseeing and so on. These are all factors that affect your holiday experience. Here is a detailed camping strategy for you.
Precautions
After arriving in Tap Mun Island, head for the piled rocks. After coming up to face the sea, go straight to the path on the right. You should be able to see it in about ten minutes. You need to climb down a little to get to the position of the first five pictures.
You should wear sports shoes to climb rocks. Watch out for loose stones and be safe!
The first camping trip was to Tap Mun Island, and the overall experience was not bad.
Sleep with the sound of the waves at night and watch the sunrise with the person you like in the morning.
it's really a super happy thing. This is something you must try once in your life.
1. If you are sure to go camping, you'd better book tents in advance, otherwise there may be no tents to rent that day.
2. Take a coat to keep warm! When watching the sunrise, the temperature difference between morning and evening is great, so I caught a cold.
3. Remember to bring the flashlight with the charging treasure to repel mosquitoes and snacks!
1. Tent
2. Barge
3. Knife
We know nothing about Tap Mun Island. In my concept, camping is equivalent to desolation and self-reliance. If you want to travel light, you can basically start with three things in our imagination list.
Let's start with a question about how to get there that everyone will be concerned about. We also figured out how to get there, for reference only.
1. Lo Wu-Sha Tin
Sha Tin Bus Terminal under Sha Tin City Plaza can take bus 299X to Sai Kung Ferry Pier. I remember it was on platform one, and it took about 51 minutes to get to Saigon pier.
2. Huangshi Wharf in Saigon
After getting off at Saigon Wharf, you can directly transfer to Bus No.94 to Huangshi Wharf, which takes about an hour (the scenery along the way is very pleasant and beautiful, and it feels like the road with the initials D)
3. Huangshi Wharf-Tap Mun Island
The frequency of ships from Huangshi Wharf to Tap Mun Island is relatively dense. In fact, many private fishermen can reach Tap Mun Island in about ten minutes by speedboat. If you are not in a hurry and are afraid of insecurity, you can wait for the ferry. If it's not fun, take a private speedboat (HK$ 21).
I have seen a friend recommend getting off at the University Station before, and then walking to Maliaoshui Wharf to take a boat to Tap Mun Island. Although it really feels convenient and fast, there are too few boats from Ma Liaoshui to Ta Men. There are only two flights a day, 8:31 in the morning and 3:31 in the afternoon. The most important thing is that there are too many people, so I'm probably not in the mood to wait in line.
Go to: Lo Wu (east rail line)-Sha Tin (299X bus)-Sai Kung Ferry Pier (94 bus)-Huangshi Ferry Pier (private speedboat)-Tap Mun Island.
return trip: Tap Mun Island (11:31 a.m. by boat, one and a half hours)-Maliushui (21 minutes' walk)-University Station (east rail line)-Luohu.
there is no turning back on this road. When I come back, my physical strength is definitely not as good as when I went, so I don't have to toss and turn, and my time is very good and comfortable.
Food and beverage
It is suggested that the island must be bought in front of Saigon Pier. Because there is nothing to buy on the island except water and drinks. (Actually, it's really good to buy it at Saigon Pier, otherwise it's useless to carry Tap Mun Island's hand from Luohu), such as Wellcome and Baijia.
romantic people buy more meat, while primitive people buy more biscuits. Because we are romantic and primitive, we are afraid of the death star, so we bought biscuits as meat, fruit and a refrigerator.
Take a bath/go to the toilet
If you don't mind taking a bath at the seaside, you can go down the mountain and have a private room next to Xinhuihe restaurant, where you can spend money. If you go to the toilet, it's easy for boys and easy for girls. I don't think it's easy. I have to go down to the dock to go to the bathroom. At night, you'd better go together. There is a darkness in the mountain road.
: Tap Mun Island camping guide
1. If the tent has conditions, it's best to bring a sunscreen compartment. Otherwise, setting up a tent in a cool place is tantamount to setting up a sauna. And nail the tent firmly with land, otherwise the strong wind on the island will make you doubt life after getting up. Hang a lamp in front of the tent before going to bed at night to prevent cows from spending the night with you.
2. There are many free-range cattle on the island of Tamen. Cows will eat anything that anyone eats. This is how a couple in front of us were eaten by cows, so watch the tent. When the cow comes, hit it with a stick. Pay special attention to No.822 cattle. How many people have you eaten? Not counting? )
The wind was too strong on the island, so we took local materials, removed stones from the seaside and built a small stove. On one side is a portable gas stove (because of the strong wind, it is estimated that the gas that can burn for one hour will be burned out in half an hour at most), and on the other side is dry wood and fire soup. I did this and attracted the admiration of many on-site donkey friends. Is this TM a farmhouse?
in fact, it is extremely difficult to make a fire in a strong wind. People are really concerned about the garbage on the beach. That's how I found a small bag of charcoal left by my predecessors. Then I picked up some dry branches and sword leaves (these leaves are good for making a fire), put some at the bottom and broke the charcoal. Light a little charcoal and everything will be fine!
Sitting on the edge of the tent, cooking, barbecuing, eating, talking and laughing with the strange donkey friends in the tent next to it, drinking beer and watching the moon on the sea, everything is so simple and comfortable.
I happened to find that there was no cell phone signal here! Although anxious but happy, nature and reality let us escape from the network and return to simple happiness, which is quite good.
Why did you choose Tap Mun Island as your travel destination
Tap Mun Island, an outlying island in Saigon District, Hong Kong, is a holy place for hiking, camping and photography. There are three reasons:
There are not many families living on the island, but the law and order is very good. Even on holidays, there are fewer tourists coming and going than in other places, avoiding crowding. The ecological environment is well protected, the grass is green, the sea is blue and the air is fresh.
2. Some tourists leave by boat after a day's play, while others will camp in tents. Camping places are concentrated here, and the campsite is very gentle. Tourists save some accommodation expenses and enjoy camping with their families or lovers and friends.
3. The seafood on the island is really first-class! Very worthy of the price, fresh ingredients, sufficient weight and delicious taste.
How to get to Tap Mun Island
Take the subway to the University Station, and walk for 15 minutes to Maliaoshui Wharf. The flight time and price are shown in the figure.
: tips:
: 1. After getting off the subway at the university station, there is a Maxim's restaurant 3 minutes walk away.
:2. It takes more than an hour to sail from Maliaoshui to the tower gate, and there is a section of sea breeze that is still very cold, especially on the second floor of the ship. Therefore, it is recommended to prepare a thin coat, sunglasses and sun hat.
:3. During May Day, the queue at Maliushui Wharf was lined up one and a half hours before sailing. Friends who travel on holidays are advised to queue up as soon as possible.
:4. You can pay cash or use Octopus to buy tickets.
: Take the Cuihua to the Tower Gate
. After half an hour's drive, you can arrive at the first pier 114. This is a big fluctuation.
There are people fishing at the dock, speedboats are moored and tourists are walking with backpacks. This is also a very good hiking place for Hong Kong people.
