2, series connection: the LED by -, -, ...... -, - series welding, resulting in a positive pole (make a mark A) and a negative pole (make a mark K-). 3, grouping (string): in accordance with the schedule is not greater than the maximum number of light-emitting diodes of various colors can be connected in series, such as each string of red LED should not be more than 120. The reason is very simple, the controller's output is about 210V DC, the red light operating voltage is about 2V, that is to say, each after a LED light will be bucked 2V, if the number of LEDs is too much, then the controller's output voltage is not up to the string of lights required for normal operation of the voltage, the string of lights will not be bright, or brightness is too low.
Note: Schedule with "*" is not recommended, when the number of series LEDs close to or over the number of with "*", easy to cause circuit instability, it is desirable to be divided into two strings or more strings connected in parallel for a group.
4, the series into the resistor: according to the number of schedules will be the appropriate number of resistors into each string of light-emitting diodes, resistors without positive and negative points, and can be strung in the string of light-emitting diodes in any two light-emitting diodes between. String in the need for wire connection to save time and effort to save wire.
Note: Due to the different batches and models of products, the specific number and value of the series resistance depends on the operating current, the above parameters are for reference only. The current of each branch of the LED should be adjusted to 19ma±1ma, and the resistor should be 1k/2w, such as 5k, you can use 5 resistors with a resistance value of 1k ohm and a power of 2W to connect the resistors in series.
5, connect the controller: the positive pole of each string of LEDs into the positive (red line) end of the controller, the negative pole of each group of light-emitting diodes into the negative (green line) control terminal of the controller. The three yellow lines are the output lines of the running side lights, respectively, connected to the negative pole of the three groups of side lights. The three positive poles of the side lights are welded together with the positive pole of the main character. 6, debugging: connection is correct, the power will light up, a simple way to measure the current, using a multimeter DC voltage gear, measuring one of the 1K/2W resistor on the voltage of about 15-20V (preferably less than 18V), beyond 20V and then add a resistor to measure again until normal. In order to facilitate the debugging measurements, the controller can be set in the debugging state and long delay interval state, the controller output at this time for a large proportion of long light, short extinction state. 7, maintenance: if not bright, with a multimeter DC 250V file, the black pen connected to the green line, the red pen connected to the red line, if the indication of jumping or in the 200-220V, indicating that the controller is normal; the black pen does not move, the red pen in turn to measure the voltage at each end of each led, if the voltage difference between the two feet of a LED is very large or no voltage, indicating that the LED is damaged, replace it and then try again.
